Building Access Over Holiday Break
Employees desiring to work in the building over the Holiday Break may do so. If you have an ID you may enter at any time, just call school security at 231-4911 and inform them that you will be in the building. We also be here for basketball practice on December 23, 27, 30, January 2 and 3 from 10:00AM - 1200Noon.

Staff Training and
Development Program
Objective: To establish a Digital
Learning Community within which administrators, teachers, students and parents
utilize 21st Century Technology to communicate, collaborate and improve
teaching practices and learning outcomes.
Outcomes: 1. Classroom
Teachers will establish and maintain and digital presence to used to post HW,
Project Assignments, Information, Sample Lessons, Model Lessons and other
information. 2. Students and parents
will be engaged in the educational process using digital tools and 21st
Century technology. 3. An ongoing professional learning process will
be designed and maintained by peer interactions and administrative guidance. 4. Instructional
delivery in the classroom will improve.
5. Student achievement will
increase.
Prerequisites:
Each Teacher should be prepared for initial training by
completing the following tasks.
1. Review
Google Docs, Google Calendar and the Barnes and Noble Nook
2. On
a flash drive bring the following documents:

Teacher Welcome and Philosophy
Statement
·
HW and Project Assignments for next 30
days
·
Field Trip Dates for the next 30 days
·
Lesson Plans for January 13-31st
3. Please
have your Room Parents to cover your classes from 10:00AM – 2:00PM for this
initial training.
4. You
may bring any documents and information you would like to upload to you digital
information site.
